GS45 is a non-alloy cast steel which is widely used in general engineering. Due to the higher carbon content, this material is not as easy to weld as GS38. GS45 is a cast steel variant of C45 structural steel.
The applications for GS 45 include frames, structural components, (rear) axles and bearing housings.
